Differences between Creativity and Innovation

Creativity and innovation might seem similar terms but they are different in concepts. Few of those differences are: Creativity appeals to the imaginative aspect whereas innovation always produces productive outcomes.  The outcomes of productivity are quantifiable but so is not the case for creativity. Creativity need not involve money but productivity always involves spending money. Terms like imagination, ideas, thoughts are associated with creativity whereas terms like process, action, funds are associated with innovation.  In the modern world, creativity is often overlooked but innovation gets all the attention. Students need to learn to differentiate between the two and balance out both in their lives.

Teaching Children to Share by Angels Eden

Sharing is an important skill which preschoolers need to learn. It is a habit which needs to be instilled in them since that young age. Some ways to get that done are: Make them participate in social activities – The more they mingle in various social activities, the better they learn to share their belongings with their peers. It has to be taught to them in a friendly manner. Be a role model – If the parents often display healthy sharing behaviours then the children also pick those up gradually.  Make them share food – They can be treated to delicious items every now and then but they have to be delicately taught to share that with either their family members or their friends or whoever is in their vicinity.  All these tiny activities would make them sharing adults and that way they would become a better human being once they grow up.

Climate change is a major factor contributing towards this situation.  It is very important for the current generations of children to be aware of this problem and be responsible citizens in their days to come. That is an issue which will impact their futures. There are so many under privileged kids and adults who do not have access to clean drinking water and that becomes a cause of diseases like diarrhoea and cholera. So, the future generations need to be aware and do whatever necessary to secure water for all. Only if they are aware themselves, can they draw attention of the authorities to the grave problem which would befall on us all.

Teaching Kids about the Value of Money by Angels' Eden

The pandemic has made the value of money even clearer in the minds of all adults. Kids however, do not have any idea about it’s worth or significance. In various subtle and simple ways, they can be given this lifelong lesson. Preschool students are too young to handle big amounts of any kind and so they should be given the responsibility to spend spare change responsibly. Instilling this sense is the most important thing at that age so that they grow up to be financially responsible adults. It’s like a habit which has to be cultivated in them day by day. Try and explain them, in their own ways, the difference between needs and wants. That lesson also helps in creating financially stable adults.
