Creativity and innovation might seem similar terms but they are different in concepts. Few of those differences are:
Creativity appeals to the imaginative aspect whereas innovation always produces productive outcomes.
The outcomes of productivity are quantifiable but so is not the case for creativity.
Creativity need not involve money but productivity always involves spending money.
Terms like imagination, ideas, thoughts are associated with creativity whereas terms like process, action, funds are associated with innovation.
In the modern world, creativity is often overlooked but innovation gets all the attention. Students need to learn to differentiate between the two and balance out both in their lives.
