Any country’s national symbols uphold the culture and natural beauty or speciality. India also has those in terms of its national flag, bird, flower, currency etc. The uniqueness of any nation is captured through these and become the country’s official identity.
National Flag
India has a tricolour flag, with a saffron band on top highlighting the nation’s strength; the white band in the middle signifies peace and truth with the dharma chakra in the centre, and lastly the green band specifies the fertility of our soil.
National Bird
Peacock has a unique participation in the country’s traditions and is a protected species.
National Animal
The Royal Bengal Tiger was declared the national animal and it represents strength, agility and authority in its territory.
Similarly there are other symbols too in our great nation.
