Benefits of Cultural Education - HM Education Centre

Better understanding of the world:  Our world is filled with amazing, diverse people and cultures. The more cultures our children are exposed to, the more accepting they are of people and cultures that are different from them. Valuing and respecting other cultures and our own:  It’s not only important to be aware of other cultures, but also to value and respect them. Reducing stereotypes:  The more we know about people and cultures, the less we’re likely to fall into grouping people based on stereotypes. Everyone is different and what’s true for one person may not be true for another. Promotes effective communication:  Language is not the only player in communication. Culture can have effects on many different areas. Culture can affect speaking style, including speed, figurative language, details and more. It can also affect body language and gestures.

Physical Activity That Kids must follow- HM Education Centre

School going kids need physical activity to build strength, coordination, and confidence — and to lay the groundwork for a healthy lifestyle.  Most of the physical activity should be aerobic, where kids use large muscles and continue for a period of time. Examples of aerobic activity are running, swimming, and dancing. School-age kids usually have brief bouts of moderate to strong physical activity alternating with light activity or rest throughout the day. Any moderate to strong activity counts toward the 60-minute goal. Muscle-strengthening and bone-strengthening physical activity should be included at least 3 days a week. Children naturally build strong muscles and bones when they run, jump, and play. Formal weight programs aren't needed, but are safe when properly designed and supervised.

How to introduce step by step Computer Skills For Kids - HM Education Centre

It's very essential for kids to get proper step by step guidelines for better learning.  For true beginners and little kids, try giving three to five directives in a set instead of 10. For older kids you can start adding in more complex directives such as "copy and paste that last word" where students have to figure out which keys or buttons to press. Advancing students can start to use fun typed elements with directives like "make a smiley face" where they make emoticons.
